ABSTRACT
Morasko Campus began emerge on the periphery part of the city of Poznan in XX century. This area was mainly covered with forests, wetlands and farmlands. After polish accession to UE realization of these investments were intensified. Currently a large part of the Campus has been replaced by impermeable surfaces. These changes resulted in the transformation of the subnatural landscape. This paper deals with ability to restore homeostasis of the area by identifying potential sites for the installation of green roofs. A green roof is a roof of a building that is partially or completely covered with vegetation and a growing medium, planted over a waterproofing membrane. The aim of the study is to identify the maximum surface area for each building that could be covered with a green roof.
