“Acta Scientiarum Polonorum. Formatio Circumiectus” is an interdisciplinary academic journal publishing original research articles, review articles, and methodological papers addressing the functioning, transformation, and protection of the environment.
The journal gives particular attention to processes occurring in aquatic environments, including their monitoring, use, protection, and management, as well as to research in water engineering, environmental engineering, and geotechnical engineering. Its scope also includes analyses of relationships among water resources, soils, geological conditions, landforms, land use, anthropogenic pressures, atmospheric processes, and climate change.
The journal publishes field, laboratory, modelling, and geospatial studies, including spatial analyses, comparative research, and investigations of long-term environmental change. Articles that provide new scientific insights and demonstrate the broader environmental, methodological, or comparative relevance of their findings are particularly encouraged.
Articles are published in Polish and English. All manuscripts undergo double-blind peer review.
