ABSTRACT
In the study were analyzed of hydrological regime of the Kamienica river – right-hand tributary of the Dunajec river in a multi-year period 1985–2012. Analyses were based on the average daily flows obtained from IMGW PIB in Warsaw at the gauge station Łabowa and Nowy Sacz. Hydrological regime of the Kamienica river is determined by precipitation. The highest average flows of the multi-year occurred in the spring and summer months, and it was connected to supply of the Kamienica river by meltwater and intense summer rainfall. On the other hand, the lowest average flows occurred in autumn months (September-October), while average rainfalls were the lowest. High flow period in the Kamienica river occurred most frequently in March and from May to June, while the low flow period frequently were quoted in September.
