ABSTRACT
This work presents the analysis of the diversity of characteristics of the natural regeneration of Scots pine (Pinus sylvestrisL.). All the renewed areas were created in 2006 and its soil was prepared by a forest plough LPZ-75. Those areas are located within the forestry of Maskulińskie. The field research was conducted in 2008. Two-year-self-sown Scots pine were measured as far as the height between the ground and the whorl as well as between the whorl and the top, what constituted respectively a height gain of the first and the second swoop, its thickness in the furrow and the slice was also determined. The discussion of the results constitutes of the description of the internal as well as the external factors that can affect the density and the growth of pine trees accretions in particular sectors.
