Along the paper some chosen problems of exploitations interlocked carpet block ramps are presented. Among many the most important ate: scouring at the downstream part of the structure, the dimensions of the boulders used on the sloping apron of the structure, upstream of structures changes of the velocity and shear stresses and their influence on the river channel and finally the problem of construction of curtain walls at two ends of the structure. The attention was paid into invertebrates which might live in the area of ramps and into river continuum under low water discharges.
