The article describes the changes that have occurred in recent years in the development of technical infrastructure and selected facilities of social infrastructure in rural area of the Tarczyn municipalities. The water supply and sewage system is very important both in terms of life quality of current inhabitants and planning of future housing development, and thus provides the basis for sustainable development. Multi-indicator analysis concerning the infrastructure issues was made at the background of social conditions and the current spatial policy of the municipality using, among others, statistical data of the Central Statistical Office (GUS) contained in the Local Data Bank (BDL) for the years 2004-2014. The evaluation of service range for local citizens was based on the measures showing the indicator related to the area or population. The results for individual indicators enable us to observe the existing trends, assess the level of service in the analysed elements of technical and social infrastructure, and then take the correct decisions concerning further development of the Tarczyn municipality.
